Box Seats

The traditional display for show-standard auriculas is the auricula theatre. For my humble garden-centre auriculas an old box is good enough. The lid, tilted forward, protects them from too much sun. They don’t need a roof over their heads, as they have little or no farina (paste) for rain to spatter or wash away. The box is filled with leaves and sand to keep the clay pots from drying out.
